What is Rite Aid Single Check Rebate?

Posted by savvydealdiva on Saturday, 16 January, 2010

RiteAidLogo

Rite Aid has a rebate program called the Single Check Rebate.  Each month, they provide a list of all of the rebates, you can get one check for all your rebates per month from Rite Aid.  If you only have one rebate you are interested in, you can request your rebate anytime after it has been accepted. If you aren’t sure, you might want to hold your rebates open and request the check after the rebate period ends

Instructions:
  • The first step is registering for the Rite-Aid Rebates website.  Be sure to enter real email and postal addresses when you sign up, so that you can receive your rebate checks.
  • Clicking “view the offers” on the Rite-Aid rebate site will take you to a list of current rebate offers. The Rite-Aid website allows you to make a shopping list based on the rebate items you want to buy, which is helpful.
  • Rebates range in value, and in their terms, so read the details of each offer carefully. Some rebates might require you to buy specific sizes and quantities of an item, or to buy two different items together.
  • For example: there might be a $3 rebate if you buy one bottle of Brand X hand soap and one bottle of Brand Y hand sanitizer. To get the $3, you will have to buy BOTH of the products.
  • After buying the rebate items at a Rite-Aid store, SAVE YOUR RECEIPT. Go to the Rite-Aid rebate website, and sign in with the account you created in step 1. Click on “enter your receipts” and type in the requested information about the transaction, all of which is printed on the receipt.
  • After you enter your receipt information, Rite-Aid will send you an email confirming that the information was received. You should get another email from Rite-Aid in a few days, confirming that your rebates have been processed.
  • After the end of the monthly rebate period, check that all your receipts have been entered and your rebates have been processed. The date that the monthly rebate period ends varies, but it is posted in the “view offers” section of the Rite-Aid Rebate website.
  • Once your rebates have all been processed, you have about a month to click on “request a check.” You should only do this after the rebate period is over and your rebates are processed; Rite-Aid only allows you to request once check per month.
  • You will receive your check within 2 to 3 weeks after you request your check.  Once your check arrives in the mail, you can cash or deposit it at your bank!

Walgreens Register Rewards Rules

Posted by savvydealdiva on Thursday, 14 January, 2010

WalgreensRegisterRewards

The Walgreens Register Rewards are like gift cards that print from the register when you buy certain items that are listed in their ad and are from the manufacturer. They look like worthless slips of paper. They, however, are not. They are like cold hard cash.

  • They expire really fast! You have two weeks to use that register reward. So if you don’t think you will be back in time to use it, go ahead and purchase something right then and use your register reward.
  • You can only get one Register Reward per promotion in a single purchase.  You can buy 2 of the same item, but they would have to be rung up separately. You can get multiple Register Rewards in one purchase when you buy products from different promotions.
  • You cannot use the exact Register Reward on the same promotion in a following transaction.  Ie.. if you buy Olay and get a RR (Register Reward) you cannot use that RR to buy another Olay.  If you do so, you will not receive a second RR.  You either have to pay for the soap and accumulate the catalinas for a different purchase, or you’ll need to use the catalinas from a different promotion to pay for the second Olay.
  • You have to have as many items purchased as coupons (RR is considered a coupon)! If you bought one Olay and tried to use a coupon and a RR it would not be accepted.  You would need to buy one more item so you have 2 products and 2 coupons.
  • Register Rewards and coupons can not be applied towards sales tax.  You will always have to pay the full tax amount for every purchase even if the products were free.

Total Purchase Coupons
From time to time, Rite Aid may feature total purchase coupons which discount the total purchase amount based upon meeting specific requirements.  For example, $5 off a $25 purchase price threshold coupon.

CVS Coupon Policy

Posted by savvydealdiva on Thursday, 10 December, 2009

CVS/pharmacy will accept coupons printed from the internet. They must have a legible barcode that scans at the register.

If the coupon does not scan at the register, the cashier should politely inform you that we are unable to accept your coupon. We do not allow manual overrides at the register for coupons printed from the Internet.

Our registers are set to allow 1 CVS coupon and 1 manufacturer coupon per item. However, the staff should be allowing customers to use Extra Bucks in combination with other CVS coupons since these are coupons you have “earned.” In addition, similarly they should be allowing the use of “offer at the register” coupons which would be an open offer of $3 off of $15 or a certain dollar amount off of a specific item. Since our registers are programmed to only accept 2 coupons (1 CVS, 1 manufacturer) per item if the number of coupons exceed the items purchased a member of management will need to assist the cashier in processing the coupons. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can use coupons towards a clearance item but the coupon will be adjusted if it is more than the price of the item.

The BOGO coupon allows you to purchase 2 items and get them both for free. With the manufacturer’s coupons you can combine one with one CVS coupon. You will be responsible for any tax due.

Walgreens Coupon Policy

Posted by savvydealdiva on Thursday, 10 December, 2009

Manufacturer coupons are redeemed on its face value and they don’t double coupons.

If the item’s sale price is more than the value of its coupon, manufacturer coupon will then be reduced & will redeem in reference of the item’s sale price.

Walgreens has REGISTER REWARDS deal. It’s like a “cash-back” system but in terms of coupons. This Register Rewards (RR) can be used on your next purchase & in any item.

Register rewards can be used with a manufacturer coupon, but certain criteria apply.  The number of coupons may not exceed the number of items you are purchasing and the total combined value of your coupons must be less than or equal to your purchase amount.  You cannot receive cash back.

If you used a RR to purchase an item with corresponding RR, you will not receive the new RR.It’s better to use RR in sale items (not RR deal of the week/month).If you’re residing in Arizona, you can use this RR in Albertson’s.As Albertson’s accepts competitors coupons.

Purchase on Register Rewards and then return item, you will also lose the register rewards that you purchased.

Kroger Coupon Policy and Guideline

Posted by savvydealdiva on Thursday, 10 December, 2009

Here is Kroger Coupon Policy and Guideline for using coupons at there stores.
**Doubles up to $.50
**Only 2 of the same coupon can be used per transaction
** Internet Printable Coupon’s are accepted.

For every $100 you spend in groceries within a month using your Kroger Plus Card you can save $.10 per gallon off any grade fuel on your next fill up at the Kroger Fuel Center. Must be awarded in one transaction, one vehicle. 25 Gallon Maximum Fill-up. (**Excludes Alabama Fuel Centers by law.)

Coupons can be loaded to your Kroger card from Cellfire; ShortcutsP&G eSaver.

Cellfire – all of the coupons that they have available will load onto your card, and there are new coupons every two weeks…most expire after a month. They also have a date they must be loaded to your card…for cellfire, I always load all of the coupons available since there is no limit.

Shortcuts - have a limit of 50 active coupons you can load to your card at a time. All of the coupons have various expiration dates and new coupons are added at different times. Because of the limit, I usually wait until the night before I am going shopping to load my coupons.

P & G eSaver -  Coupons expire on the last day of the month and new ones are added on the first of the month, all coupons are good for the entire month. I also wait to load my card until the night before so that I don’t load useless coupons that take up space.

Coupons highlights….

**Although you can’t load a coupon more than once onto your Kroger card, you will find that many of the sites have two “different” coupons that are for the same item/amount.

**If you have TWO of the same coupon loaded from cellfire and you buy TWO of the correct products…only one cellfire discount will come off. You would have to do a separate transaction in order to get the second coupon to come off.

**If you have two of the same coupons loaded-ONE from cellfire AND ONE from shortcuts and buy ONE of the correct products…both discounts will come off on one item. You will not need to purchase the second item to get both discounts.

**If you have two coupons for the same product, but different amounts loaded…the policy of the loadable sites is to allow ONLY the highest value coupon to come off.
